Terms of Service
The terms and conditions governing the use of MolTrust's trust infrastructure platform and API services.
Service Description
1. What MolTrust Provides
MolTrust is a trust infrastructure platform for AI agents, operated by CryptoKRI GmbH (CHE-115.481.407), a company registered in Zurich, Switzerland. By accessing or using the MolTrust platform and API at api.moltrust.ch, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
- Identity VerificationMolTrust provides AI agent identity registration and verification through decentralized identifiers (DIDs) and W3C Verifiable Credentials, enabling provable trust between autonomous systems.
- Reputation ScoringThe platform maintains behavioral reputation scores for registered AI agents, derived from verifiable interaction history and compliance records.
- W3C Verifiable CredentialsMolTrust issues and verifies W3C-compliant Verifiable Credentials, allowing agents to carry cryptographically signed attestations of identity, capability, and trustworthiness.
- API AccessAll platform functionality is exposed through a RESTful API. Service availability is provided on a commercially reasonable basis, without guarantees of uninterrupted access.
API Usage
2. Credits & Pricing
MolTrust operates on a credit-based pricing model. Credits are consumed per API call, with costs varying by endpoint complexity and resource requirements.
- Free CreditsUpon registration, each account receives 100 free credits. These credits are non-transferable and are provided to enable initial evaluation of the platform.
- Per-Endpoint CostsEach API endpoint has a defined credit cost. Current pricing is published in the API documentation at api.moltrust.ch/docs and may be updated with reasonable notice.
- Credit PurchasesAdditional credits can be purchased through the platform. All purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
- Usage MonitoringYou are responsible for monitoring your credit balance and API consumption. MolTrust is not liable for service interruptions resulting from depleted credits.
Account Security
3. Account & API Keys
Access to the MolTrust API requires registration and authentication through API keys. You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your credentials.
- One Key Per EmailEach email address may be associated with one API key. Duplicate registrations under the same email are not permitted.
- Key SecurityYou are solely responsible for all activity conducted under your API key. Store your key securely, never embed it in client-side code, and never share it with unauthorized parties.
- Compromised KeysIf you suspect your API key has been compromised, contact us immediately at info@moltrust.ch. MolTrust reserves the right to revoke any key suspected of unauthorized use.
- Account TerminationMolTrust may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.
Acceptable Use
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use MolTrust services in compliance with all applicable laws and in a manner that does not harm the platform, its users, or the integrity of the trust infrastructure.
- No AbuseYou must not use the platform to conduct fraudulent, harmful, or illegal activities. This includes submitting false information during agent registration or credential issuance.
- No ImpersonationYou must not impersonate another entity, misrepresent agent identity, or forge credentials. The integrity of the trust network depends on truthful participation.
- No Circumventing Rate LimitsYou must not attempt to bypass, circumvent, or manipulate rate limits, quotas, or other technical restrictions imposed by the platform.
- No Reverse EngineeringYou must not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract proprietary algorithms or source code from the MolTrust platform or API.
Intellectual Property
5. Ownership & Rights
MolTrust and its licensors retain all rights to the platform, and you retain all rights to your agent data.
- Platform OwnershipThe MolTrust platform, including its API, documentation, algorithms, design, and branding, is the intellectual property of CryptoKRI GmbH. No license or right is granted beyond what is necessary to use the service.
- Your Agent DataYou retain ownership of all data you submit to the platform, including agent metadata, interaction logs, and any content associated with your account. MolTrust processes this data solely to provide the service.
- CredentialsVerifiable Credentials issued by MolTrust are cryptographically tied to the platform. While you may present and use these credentials, the credential schema and issuance infrastructure remain the property of CryptoKRI GmbH.
Data Protection
6. Privacy & Compliance
MolTrust is committed to protecting your data in accordance with Swiss and European data protection standards.
- Swiss nFADP ComplianceMolTrust processes all personal data in compliance with the Swiss New Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP / nDSG), ensuring transparent, proportionate, and purpose-limited data processing.
- GDPR ComplianceWhere applicable, MolTrust also adheres to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including provisions for data subject rights, lawful processing, and cross-border data transfers.
- Data MinimizationMolTrust collects only the data strictly necessary to provide the service. We do not sell, share, or monetize your data beyond what is required for platform operation.
- Data LocationAll data is processed and stored on infrastructure located in Switzerland, subject to Swiss data protection law.
Liability
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under Swiss law, the following limitations apply.
- Service Provided "As Is"MolTrust is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. CryptoKRI GmbH makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the platform.
- Exclusion of DamagesCryptoKRI GmbH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the platform.
- Maximum LiabilityIn no event shall CryptoKRI GmbH's aggregate liability exceed the total amount you have paid for MolTrust services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
- Force MajeureCryptoKRI GmbH is not liable for failures or delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, cyberattacks, regulatory changes, or infrastructure outages.
Updates
8. Changes to Terms
MolTrust reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time.
- NotificationMaterial changes to these terms will be communicated via the email address associated with your account or through a notice on the MolTrust website.
- Continued UseYour continued use of MolTrust services after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must discontinue use of the platform.
- Version HistoryPrevious versions of these terms are available upon request by contacting info@moltrust.ch.
