MolTrust Finance / Banking
Savings agents move deposits to wherever the rate is higher. With MolTrust Banking, every deposit an agent brings in carries the saver's signed limits: how long the money stays, how often it may move, and that it goes only to insured accounts. Your bank checks those limits itself, transfer by transfer.
Each agent-managed deposit arrives with a holding period the saver signed. Treasury knows how long the money stays and can price it, for example a higher rate for 90 committed days.
Every move comes with a record of the decision and the data behind it. Your team, an auditor or a supervisor can recompute it without asking the agent operator.
Agents move money when the rate difference passes the saver's threshold, to insured accounts, and each at its own time within a set window. A rate change spreads the transfers over hours.
The pilot runs on simulated accounts and test data. Your treasury team sets the limits, such as a 90-day holding period and a minimum rate difference, and sees how agent-managed deposits behave under them. We are looking for one bank or savings platform to run it with.
The saver signs the limits once, as a mandate in Verifiable Intent, the format Mastercard contributed to the FIDO Alliance. The agent carries that mandate with every transfer. Before each transfer, a check decides whether it may go ahead, has to wait for its time slot, or is blocked. The check uses only signed rate and insurance data, so anyone who repeats it gets the same answer.
The open demo runs a savings agent between two simulated banks and writes a record for each transfer. The constraint definitions, the code and the mapping to Verifiable Intent and AP2 are in the demo repository and in the background article.
